Buddha-Full is committed to participating in our communities at the national, regional and local levels. We support non-profit organizations with values which complement our identified Heart Values.
Donations are reviewed by the Director of Community and Events, approved on a monthly first come first serve basis, and brought to the owners for approval if the requests exceeds our monthly allocation for giving.
CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY
Projects, programs and organizations that align with Buddha-Full’s identified focal areas
Organizations that are federally registered charities with the Canadian Revenue Agency
Projects or programs that take place in communities where Buddha-Full operates
Charitable organizations that provide direct community service
Buddha-Full’s charitable giving is driven by our 5 Heart Values: Cultivate Vitality, Empower One Another, Tread Lightly, Hold the Highest Thought and Live Buddha-Fully. Specifically we aim to focus on organizations that
Promote health and well being in our community
Empower humans to live up to their highest potential
Protect and enhance the well-being of animals, people, and our planet
We do not fund:
Third-party organizations raising funds for charity
Multi-year projects or commitments
Religious organizations for sectarian purposes will not be considered; however, a community program sponsored by a religious organization will be considered (e.g., food pantry).
Donations to political or advocacy groups
Endowment or capital campaigns
Conferences, seminars, events or golf tournaments
All requests for donations are to be made through the Buddha-Full website: https://www.buddha-full.ca/community/
Buddha-Full commits to providing a response or a status update within 1 week of receipt of the request.
In kind, we expect the recipients of charitable contributions will promote our business goals, create positive visibility, and demonstrate social responsibility.
